• First of all, light goes into the lens of the camera.
• Secondly, the light hits the CCD and this transfers the analogue light signals into voltage signals that the camera can understand.
• Then there is an Analogue Digital Converter (ADC) which changes the analogue signals into digital signals.
• These are then stored on the memory card as a bitmapped graphic.
